Storytelling and weaving both have something in common: they are etymologically bound. We have text and textile from tek, because to weave, to write, to tell a story — are all the same things. 
It is a language we heavily rely on at Rugs Boutique. All of our products are handmade to the last detail using traditional, sustainable methods and materials. Each rug goes through an intimate process, and takes about 6 weeks to make. A lot of our rugs are also made-to-order to avoid stockpiling and unnecessary waste of resources like dyes, yarn, water, etc.

Famous for their rich colors, warm tones, and beautiful ethnic motifs, these flat-woven rugs embody a splendid mix of cultures: the Greeks, Armenians, Kurds, Assyrian, & Turkic peoples have all contributed to kilim history. The dhurrie is handwoven/loomed in jute and wool and the colors make you feel at home.
 
 The crease line disappears very quickly once the rug is laid out.
 
 Pin it up on a wall in your dorm or living room, if you are so much not into rugs.

 Spot clean using a damp cloth
 Brush for dust and pet hair
 Use a mild detergent for stains, testing on a small, inconspicuous area first
