Storytelling and weaving both have something in common: they are etymologically bound. We have text and textile from tek, because to weave, to write, to tell a story — are all the same things. 
It is a language we heavily rely on at Rugs Boutique. All of our products are handmade to the last detail using traditional, sustainable methods and materials. Each rug goes through an intimate process, and takes about 6 weeks to make. A lot of our rugs are also made-to-order to avoid stockpiling and unnecessary waste of resources like dyes, yarn, water, etc.

The rug is brand new. The materials for it are sourced from factories that have to leave the cloth rags out. We bring them home and voila! Pin in it up on the wall of your favourite room if you are not so much into rugs!
