Storytelling and weaving both have something in common: they are etymologically bound. We have text and textile from tek, because to weave, to write, to tell a story — are all the same things. 
It is a language we heavily rely on at Rugs Boutique. All of our products are handmade to the last detail using traditional, sustainable methods and materials. Each rug goes through an intimate process, and takes about 6 weeks to make. A lot of our rugs are also made-to-order to avoid stockpiling and unnecessary waste of resources like dyes, yarn, water, etc.
Rugs Boutique is entirely led by women :)

Rugsxboutique

Very similar to seagrass, mountaingrass is grown in the mountains and has a bit more texture. It’s naturally durable, very strong, and adds the most rustic and warm feels.
Famous for their rich colors, warm tones, and beautiful ethnic motifs. The dhurrie is handwoven/loomed in jute and the colors make you feel at home.
