Introduction

History

Fluid Art has been around since the 1930s. David Alfaro Siqueiros - a Mexican artist and political activist, can be credited with the invention of paint pouring. He referred to it as ‘accidental painting’ because it was just a fluke that he stumbled across this painting technique! His experiments with paint lead him to just pour one color of paint onto the other and watch what happened. The paints moved and mixed and much to his surprise, he fell in love with this technique. 

In this particular painting, the technique used is called ‘Cloud Over’ which is a reflection of a deep understanding of fluid dynamics. Careful layering of paints that have different densities and insightful colors palette is a highly complex routine that is achievable after many years of practice.

The Arctic Hue Paintings are inspired by the artist's yearning to visit the Arctic. The beauty of the Arctic landscape is mesmerizing and this is an attempt to take this beauty out there.

My main passion is mixed media and Fluid acrylic art, which is exactly why I started 'uncannedtunaart studio.' I aspire to share and uplift others with art and beauty, and to create as many artists as possible to fill this world with art. Whether it’s playing music, painting, dancing, writing, or even cooking for just one hour a day, I believe the world would be much saner and happier with more artists in it.

Packing:

The painting will be packed between two cardboard sheets and wrap in bubble sheet so as to protect it from any damage during shipping.
