From kaskamane estate, these s. 795 varietals are grown and ripened at1100 ~ 1200m. they were grown with intercrops such as cardamom, and areca nut. s.795 was developed in the 1940s, using ‘kents’ arabica, known for its high quality. they yield bold beans, superior quality, and a balanced cup with subtle flavor notes of mocca. These beans spend up to 36 hours soaked in the wet fermentation process, at chikmagalur, karnataka. the peaberry or pb standard is to signify that the green beans are big enough to not pass through an oblong sieve (no.12 oblong) of 4.75 mm screen. Please note: We sell 220 grams of green beans, the roasting service is free. after roasting the beans lose 12~20% of the mass. when you receive the beans from us, it will not be 220 grams. we will write the final weight of the roasted beans on the package. we also provide a video of the roast. have a great cup!

Introducing the much-awaited harvest from Nachammai Estate, making a return after two years with its sweet notes of caramel, green grapes and lemonade. The tea-like mouthfeel is beautifully complemented by the refreshing lingering aftertaste of citrus.The estate, in collaboration with our team, has incorporated new practices like separating the floaters that have helped improve the quality over the season. A great choice for those who prefer their coffees manually brewed, this one works wonders as a Pour Over and an Aeropress! If you've relished our light roasted Seethargundu and M.S. Estate organic coffees, you will love this one! Nachammai Estate was originally part of a larger plantation which belonged to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mysore. It was acquired by Palaniappan Ramanathan's family in 1979, with his father spending several years restoring the estate before Palaniappan took over himself. Nachammai has its own pulping machines and dries its fully-washed Selection 9 beans in a sun-soaked drying yard. In addition to coffee, the estate also produces pepper and oranges. Palaniappan is now undertaking efforts to convert part of the plantation to an organic farm while adding homestay facilities. At an elevation of 5350 ft above sea level, baarbara estate has been reaching for the clouds since 1896. They have been growing and perfecting each aspect of coffee growing to its processing. While perfecting the coffee, they received multiple awards for sustaining the environment and treating their employees fairly. Apart from coffee, the estate is also home to 100 different species of birds and mammals. They have been working with multiple authoritative bodies to maintain the biodiversity, which they call the coffee bio system. This baarbara estate coffee is hazelnutty with a tinge of coconut. It is heavy-bodied and is roasted to a medium-dark to give you the perfect kick in the morning. It is complex in its flavour with a lingering aftertaste, making it ideal for a strong black coffee or a milk-based beverage. For a cold-brew, we suggest going 50-50 with baarbara hsd and thogarihunkal washed to bring out the best flavour.

Enjoy a trip to your childhood with our latest seasonal light roast from Riverdale Estate with sweet aromas of bubblegum and candy. This lot has been processed naturally with coffee cherries being fermented for 72 hours — a method unique to the farm. Each sip has a juicy mouthfeel of pineapple and a sweet aftertaste of oranges, flavours that are amplified in a Pour Over, French Press, AeroPress or as a Cold Brew. Riverdale Estate is located in the Shevaroy Hills of Tamil Nadu and, since 1920, three generations have worked hard to consistently enrich the quality of coffee that grows here. A fresh water stream called Riverdale meanders through this estate, lending the farm its name. Picked and processed to perfection by a handful of warm, welcoming, friendly workers who have been part of the Riverdale family for many seasons, the coffee cherries are fermented and then sun dried on raised beds for 25-30 days. Vanalaya South India Style Southern Classic Instant Coffee

This year’s harvest from Varadymalai Estate makes for a crisp, clean cup of coffee and is recommended for manual brewing. This light roast has notes of caramelised peach, black tea and green grapes with a long, delicious aftertaste of stone fruit. The coffee cherries at the estate were washed processed to bring out these bright fruit and clean tea-like flavours. Started in 1945, Varadymalai Estate spans 2,000 acres, of which close to 400 acres are dedicated to coffee. Varieties of Arabica grown at the estate include S9, Chandragiri and San Ramon. The San Ramon variety, which went into making this coffee, is known for its high productivity, resistance to drought and disease. It has distinct stone fruit characteristics which makes it perfect for washed processing. The estate carefully monitors each step of the bean from harvesting to curing which ensures that the beans that reach us are of the highest quality. Attikan Estate's arabica coffee comes from the Biligiriranga Hills in Karnataka and is one of most popular coffees. Sweet with fruity overtones and balanced acidity, this is the darkest of our standard medium roasts and recommended for espresso lovers. It is a versatile coffee that also works for manual brewing such as Moka Pot, South Indian Filter and Aeropress. Located to the south of Mysore, the Biligiriranga Hills, or ‘white hills’ are named after the mist that hangs over the region. At 1650 metres, it is amongst the highest coffee growing regions in India and grows Selection 9, Selection 795, Cauvery and Kent varieties of Arabica, along with Silver Oaks, citrus, and fig trees. This year’s seasonal offering from Kerehaklu Estate is a monitor inoculated washed processed coffee. This offering makes for a clean cup with its aroma of dried dates and caramel, and long, sweet aftertaste of citrus fruits and berries. Our roasters recommend this as an espresso, cold brew, pour over and AeroPress. Monitor Inoculated Washed The team at Kerehaklu experimented with inoculants to process this lot using a Lactobacillus strain. Named after monitor lizards found in abundance at the estate, this process requires coffee cherries to be were sequentially fermented with inoculants which sped up the demuciligination of the beans, giving this coffee a rounded flavour profile of molasses, grapefruit and dried blueberry. S.795 was developed in the 1940s, using ‘Kents’ arabica, known for its high quality. they yield bold beans, superior quality, and a balanced cup with subtle flavor notes of Mocca. Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold are large beans, bluish-green in color, with a clean polished appearance. these beans spend up to 40 hours soaked in the wet fermentation process, in Bababudangiris, Karnataka. Please note: Please NOTE we sell 220 grams of green beans, the roasting service is FREE. After roasting the beans lose 12~20% of the mass. Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold (Medium-Pour-over)

It’s time for another Producer Series coffee! This time around, we’re featuring coffee from Riverdale Estate—a farm we featured twice in this series last year! The farm gets its name from a freshwater stream called ‘Riverdale’ that meanders through it. This lot was processed using a unique method, in which grapes were added to the fermentation process. Ripe red cherries were handpicked from selective higher elevation blocks of the estate. After the floaters were removed, high brix cherries were triple washed in clean spring water and fermented with green grapes under a controlled environment for 3 to 4 days. This lent the coffee its warm aromas of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon that make it perfect to bring in the winter season. The coffees were exposed to direct sunlight for 2-3 days with the pH level and temperature being monitored regularly to ensure cup consistency. Post fermentation, the coffees were transferred to raised beds and sundried for 2-3 days. After this, they are then transferred to partially covered raised beds. The moisture level was recorded per day to ensure uniform drying. Finally, after 21-30 days, the coffees were allowed to rest in green pro bags for 4-5 weeks. Our roasters profiled this as a light roast to further enhance its intricate flavour notes of cranberry, apricot, lychee and black tea.
