MAKING - All our rugs are made in the standard horizontal hand loom. The vertical looms are used for smaller ones. It is done by both men and women (skilled labor). The skill of the weaver lies in maintaining the right tension across the weaves while it is stretched. The cotton yarn is also Handspun.

 USES - Smaller size rugs could be used for bedding as bed covers, the medium are mainly used for floor coverings in rooms and walkways. The very large sizes are only made against specific orders but caters weddings, storekeeper, religious & govt. institutions.

DHURRIES - could also be used as an upholstery option for stools, sofa, benches etc.

 DYES - We use sustainably produced vegetable colour dyes that blend with each other to create vivid patterns. They last longer than chemical dyes in addition to its environmentally friendly nature.

Washing Instructions - Cotton rugs are very easy to clean. We recommend blotting any stains or using a soft brush with soapy water to eliminate on any larger patches. Sundry the rugs flat or blot moisture using thick towels. This makes it an ideal choice for areas in your house with heavy traffic like your kids' room or entryways. It is also manageable in houses with pets due to their durable and maintenance-free nature.
