This beautiful soap dispenser is handcrafted by artisans from India. Blue Pottery is a unique form of pottery which is famous in Jaipur- the capital of Rajasthan. Getting its name from the turquoise blue colour, this pottery is famous especially in the form of lamps, vases, tiles and plates. It is made out of a similar frit material to Egyptian faience, is glazed and low-fired. No clay is used: the 'dough' for the pottery is prepared by mixing quartz stone powder, powdered glass, Multani Mitti (Fuller's Earth), borax, gum and water.
